Marian Stopher, 2001-2002

Marian Stopher resides in Versailles and is the retired chief accountant for Scott County Schools.  She has been married for 35 years to Bob.  They have three beautiful children and four fantastic grandchildren.  Marian worked for 25 years for Scott County Schools and retired on January 1, 2009.  Marian was very involved in KASBO throughout her career, working first as secretary/treasurer for several years, then working through the ranks to eventually become president.  She has had the privilege of watching KASBO grow into the wonderful organization it is today.  In October 2009, Stopher returned to Scott County part-time to help out with special projects.  She is also working for her church, St. Leo’s in Versailles, as finance manager, so right now she is working every day—so much for retirement!
