Ernie C. Grayson, 1963-1964

Ernie Grayson was a charter member of KASBO and instrumental in drafting the constitution and bylaws of the original association.  At the time, he was the treasurer for Jefferson County Schools. Subsequently, at the time of merger of Jefferson County and Louisville City Schools, he became superintendent. After retirement from JCPS, he was still active as CFO for a local company and still resides in Louisville. An avid runner and member of the Cherokee Road Runners, Ernie finished second in the 80 to 84 age group 10K road race, which was sponsored by the National Senior Olympics Summer Games in Louisville. He is the earliest surviving KASBO past president.
